Quality Controller

The Quality Controller is responsible for inspecting, testing, and evaluating products and processes to ensure they meet established quality standards. This role helps maintain consistency, safety, and customer satisfaction by identifying defects, recommending improvements, and ensuring compliance with company and regulatory requirements.


Responsibility:
- Conduct daily GMPs checks - Daily areas temperature checks /product temperature - Conduct online quality control checks - Issuing of PPE - Issuing and collecting scales, knives, scissors, and thermometers - Scales verifications - Chemical verification - Report product quality issues to the factory manager and quality department - Complete records and ensure records are completed live - Verify records completed by staff - Filing records - Conduct induction training with new staff members - Report maintenance related issues to QC Supervisor, food technologist. It is the QC’s responsibility to write out a job card and submit to the maintenance department prior to reporting to management. - Report new equipment or equipment no longer in use in responsible department(s). - Report hygiene related issues to food technologist - Report staff that do not adhere to food safety rules to food technologist - Traceability picking- Ensure all traceability records are completed in full and signed off by area supervisor and manager. - Conduct training with staff when necessary and ensure that the staff member that undergone the training sign Training register and submit this record to food technologist/system - When a new record is implemented, train the responsible staff member on completion of the applicable record and ensure that the staff member signs a training record as proof.
