Precision Cylindrical Grinder - Internal and External

We are seeking a highly skilled Precision Cylindrical Grinder. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining cylindrical grinding machines. Your work will be critical to the performance and reliability of our final products. Key Responsibilities: • Set up and operate manual cylindrical grinding machines. • Interpret and work from complex engineering drawings • Grind various materials, • Perform in-process and final inspections using micrometres, bore gauges, • Maintain dimensional accuracy and high-quality surface finishes on all parts. • Perform routine machine maintenance and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

Required Skills & Qualifications: • Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a Cylindrical Grinder in a high-precision environment. • Expertise in reading and interpreting complex engineering drawings. • Proficient with a wide range of precision measuring instruments. • A meticulous, detail-oriented mindset with a strong commitment to quality and accuracy. • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. • Willing to work overtime. Desirable Skills: • Experience with grinding machines • Formal apprenticeship or technical qualification in Mechanical Engineering or Machining. • Experience grinding components for the mining, electrical industries.
