Description
We are looking for a strong, experienced Logistics Controller to take full control of transport operations. This is a hands-on role requiring someone who understands the logistics industry and can manage everything from planning to execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Full control of daily transport operations
- Planning, scheduling, and allocating loads
- Managing drivers, routes, and delivery timelines
- Tracking vehicles and ensuring on-time performance
- Handling client communication and resolving issues
- Managing PODs, invoicing support, and all transport documentation
- Monitoring fuel usage, costs, and operational efficiency
- Problem-solving delays, breakdowns, and operational challenges
Requirements:
- Minimum 3+ years experience in logistics/transport
- Strong knowledge of fleet and route planning
- Ability to manage high-pressure situations
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Strong communication and leadership ability
- Must be reliable, accountable, and hands-on
