IT Technician

Overall, Role Purpose
The IT Technician is responsible for ensuring the availability, confidentiality, and integrity of the organisations IT infrastructure, systems, and applications. The role ensures the stability, security, and optimal performance of IT infrastructure across local and global operations. The IT Technician provides technical support to all users and supports infrastructure standards aligned with multinational and global IT governance frameworks.This role is ideally suited to candidates with experience in multinational organisations, where global standards, cross-border coordination, and enterprise-level systems are required.
Key Responsibilities

• Implement IT infrastructure plans for maximum efficiency
• Support global technologies and infrastructure
• Manage servers, deployments, and security patches
• Provide IT support, troubleshoot, and resolve faults
• Analyze issues, suggest improvements, and drive efficiency

Job RequirementsExperience:

• Minimum 5 years in IT, preferably within a multinational setting
• Proven IT infrastructure and system management experience
• Strong understanding of OS, system, and network administration
• Supervisory experience is advantageous

Educational Requirements

• Matric (Grade 12) - Essential
• Bachelors Degree in IT / Computer Science - Preferred
• Relevant IT certifications (A+, N+, Microsoft Certified, etc.)
