Key Responsibilities
Order Processing & Dispatch Planning
- Coordinate daily dispatch schedules to meet delivery deadlines
- Verify order accuracy, quantities, and documentation
- Liaise with Sales, Stores, and Workshop teams
- Prioritise urgent and time-sensitive deliveries
Logistics & Transportation Management
- Arrange transport (internal fleet and third-party providers)
- Plan routes and optimise truck capacity
- Track deliveries and provide updates to stakeholders
- Ensure drivers are fully prepared with correct documentation
- Oversee loading, packing, and dispatch processes
- Ensure vehicles are roadworthy and diesel levels are maintained
Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain accurate dispatch records and logs
- Ensure all documentation meets company and audit standards
- Adhere to SHEQ requirements and safe handling practices
Customer & Sales Support
- Communicate dispatch details and delivery timelines
- Handle customer queries and resolve delivery issues
- Maintain high service standards and customer satisfaction
Reporting & Administration
- Compile weekly and month
