Compliance Officer: Security

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Security or Risk Management (NQF6)

• Drivers License

• Aviation Security Level 3 & Dangerous Goods (Group A)

• Auditor, Security, Safety & Risk Management training

• 2 years or more in aviation security or similar

• Strong knowledge of Civil Aviation Regulations

• Solid report writing, auditing, analytical and communication skills

• Comfortable working in a large warehouse environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and support the companys Security Management System

• Conduct vulnerability assessments and track corrective actions

• Participate in internal/external audits

• Investigate and report security incidents (including IQSMS logging)

• Monitor performance of security service providers

• Ensure security equipment is maintained and used correctly

• Conduct inspections, spot checks and enforce compliance with SOPs

• Engage with airport authorities, SAPS, customs and airlines

• Communicate security updates and encourage a strong security culture
