Duties:
  • Manage an assigned sales territory while maintaining a strong understanding of potential customers and competitors.
  • Capture and maintain accurate customer information in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships while collaborating with regional teams, global offices, and Knowledge Management resources.
  • Develop value-added logistics solutions, including network diagrams and cost-benefit analyses, to meet customer requirements.
  • Support the successful onboarding and transition of new customer accounts.
  • Manage the credit application and setup process for new customers.
  • Attend training and development sessions to enhance sales techniques and maintain product and service knowledge.
  • Participate in local trade groups and industry events as directed.
  • Conduct joint sales calls with management as required.
  • Achieve individual sales budgets and performance targets.
  • Maintain a diversified sales pipeline across multiple industries and service offerings.
  • Undertake additional duties and projects as required to support business objectives.

Requirements:
  • Minimum 5-7 years experience in a new business sales role within clearing and forwarding (non-negotiable).
  • Own vehicle and valid driver's licence.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding target.
