Warehouse Supervisor (Bloemfontein)

The ideal candidate is practical, hands-on, strong stock control experience, ability to lead a team in a fast-paced operational environment, organised, detail-focused, and comfortable working with systems and processes while ensuring smooth day-to-day warehouse operations.

To supervise and coordinate warehouse operations, ensuring accurate stock control, efficient goods handling, and compliance with company procedures, while supporting operational efficiency and service delivery.


Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily warehouse activities including receiving, storage, and dispatch
• Maintain accurate stock control and inventory records
• Conduct regular cycle counts and support stocktake processes
• Investigate stock discrepancies and implement corrective actions
• Ensure correct storage, labelling, and handling of stock
• Apply FIFO principles in stock management
• Monitor goods received and dispatched for accuracy and quality
• Maintain accurate system records and data integrity
• Ensure warehouse procedures and operational standards are followed
• Supervise and guide warehouse staff to ensure productivity and efficiency
• Address operational challenges and resolve day-to-day issues
• Maintain a safe and organised warehouse environment
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Support operational reporting and documentation
• Identify opportunities to improve warehouse processes and efficiencies

Minimum Requirements:

• Diploma or qualification in Warehousing, Logistics, Supply Chain
• 6 - 8 years experience in warehouse, logistics, or inventory control
• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience preferred
• Proficiency in MS Office and warehouse / ERP systems & SAP
• Strong understanding of warehouse processes and stock control
• Willingness to travel to satellite distribution locations when required.
