Description
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage business from preparing quotations to project completion.
  • Implement and maintain sales and project management systems to ensure successful project execution from quoting and contractual negotiations to final sign-off. This includes amongst others, CRM, factory and delivery coordination, confirming site readiness, subcontractor coordination, commissioning, and snagging.
  • Work on spreadsheets and create quotations from information received via RFQs and drawings for shelving systems, kits, and buy-out items.
  • Ensure pricing accuracy, margin control, and compliance with company standards.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Procurement, and Operations to support successful project delivery.
  • Maintain and improve pricing templates, product codes, and estimating processes.
  • Manage and maintain on-time delivery of Sales Packs to the factory.
  • Manage and maintain inventory and stock holding of shelving components, ordering of components from suppliers, and handle all shelving returns of extras and leftovers (including processing, inspection, restocking, and supplier credits).
  • Collaborate with Key Account Managers to support key clients and maximise revenue.
  • Track project risks, timelines, and budgets; provide regular status reports to senior management.
  • Oversee quality assurance for shelving installations, including post-project audits and lessons learned.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Any other functions or project work your manager may require you to perform or assist with from time to time.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Tertiary qualifications (degree), Supply Chain
  • 5+ years related experience (retail fit-out, shopfitting, warehouse racking).
  • Advanced Excel skills for quoting, inventory tracking, and reporting.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Knowledge of supply chain logistics, inventory control, and SA retail regulations.
