Well Established ISP looking for a First Line Support Technician / Field Technician
Duties & Responsibilities Field Technician Duties
- Installation of brackets, microwave antennas and routers in Malgas, Bredarsdorp , Witsand and Infanta area
Fully capable of configuring routers, radios, (Mikrotik, Ubiquiti, etc.)
Take Pride in your work ( cabling , installation and crimping)
Fault finding/troubleshooting. Installation and configuration of PTP and PTMP links.
Antenna alignment.
High site construction.
No fear of heights
Medically clear. No health issues.
Skilled to work with power tools.
Drivers license compulsory
Sober of Habits
Non field working days must work from home and help the rest of the team with Helpdesk Support
• Logging Support Calls on Helpdesk ticketing system
• Assisting Customers with First Line Support Issues Fibre, and Wireless.
Whatapp and Phone support
• Assisting Installers with Installations (Remote Support) if needed.
• Escalating Calls to Second Line Support
• Data Usage Reports.
• Following and Maintaining call logging procedures.
• Fault finding reports, incident reports etc.
• Adhering to our internal Support SLA.
Matric certificate.
A+ or N+ certificate
Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Helpdesk experience.
TeamViewer and Anydesk support experience.
Salary R8000 pm
