Seasonal Contract | October 2026 – May 2027 | Full-Time
We are looking for an experienced, energetic and professional Bartender to join our team at The Skybar Rooftop Bar, one of Cape Town’s stylish rooftop destinations.
Position Details- Seasonal contract: October 2026 – May 2027
- Training starts: 28 September 2026
- Job starts: 3 October 2026
- Position: Full-time
- Rate: R50 per hour
- Location: The Grey Hotel, De Waterkant, Cape Town
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a bartender
- Excellent knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wine and bar service
- Friendly, confident and professional personality
- Excellent customer-service skills
- Able to work efficiently in a busy, high-energy environment
- Well-presented, reliable and punctual
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Available to work evenings, weekends and public holidays
- POS and cash-handling experience
- High standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Responsible and professional when serving alcohol
- South African ID OR valid South African work permit
- Full CV required
- Minimum 2 contactable references
- Proof of previous bartending experience
- Must be available for the entire seasonal contract: October 2026 – May 2027
- Must be legally permitted to work in South Africa
