Senior FOH Manager
Description
We are seeking a highly experienced and service driven Senior Front of House Manager to lead our
FOH team and ensure an exceptional dining experience for every guest. You will be responsible for
overseeing all front of house operations, maintaining high standards of customer service, managing
and training staff, and working closely with the kitchen and management teams to drive overall
performance.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Oversee daily front of house operations, including dining area, bar and guest service.
- Lead, train, and manage FOH team members including waiters, bartenders, and support staff.
- Ensure smooth service during peak hours by coordinating seating, guest flow, and staff
assignments.
- Monitor guest satisfaction, resolve complaints promptly and professionally.
- Uphold and enforce health, safety, and cleanliness standards.
- Assist in recruitment, onboarding, and performance evaluations of FOH staff.
- Create staff schedules, manage labor costs, and ensure appropriate staffing levels.
- Collaborate with kitchen leadership and management on service flow and operational
improvements.
- Monitor inventory and coordinate with suppliers for FOH stock orders and deliveries.
- Implement and maintain customer service standards and hospitality standards.
- Efficiently work on the POS and back office system to control stock levels, stock takes invoicing
etc.
Skills Required
- 2+ years of experience in front of house restaurant management, preferably in a high-volume café
setting.
- Strong leadership, communication, conflict management and problem-solving skills.
- Good time management skills.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Deep understanding of hospitality standards and guest service practices.
- Proficient in POS systems and Microsoft Office. Micros experience would be beneficial.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and FOH compliance standards.
- Ability to handle stressful situations with grace and professionalism

Position Purpose
Supply Planning & Replenishment
• Maintain the weekly and monthly supply plans in line with forecast and stock requirements.
• Maintain and monitor key supply parameters: lead times, minimum order quantities, and safety stock levels.
• Highlight and resolve potential supply gaps, delays, or risks through proactive communication.
• Work closely with Supply Chain to confirm delivery schedules and prioritize stock allocation when needed.
Demand Forecasting & Analysis
• Assist in building, maintaining, and reviewing the monthly demand forecast at SKU, brand, and channel level.
• Consolidate historical sales, market trends, promotions, and new product introductions to support forecast generation.
• Participate in monthly demand review meetings (S&OP) to align forecasts with commercial and marketing teams.
• Monitor and report on forecast accuracy (MAPE, bias, etc.) and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Data Management & Reporting
• Assist in maintaining accurate forecasting data and planning parameters in the SAP IBP system.
• Generate reports and dashboards to track key metrics such as forecast accuracy, sales vs forecast, and stock performance.
• Support the preparation of planning packs and presentations for management and S&OP reviews.
Inventory & Service Support
• Monitor inventory levels and highlight risks of potential stock-outs or overstocking.
• Support in balancing stock availability across channels while minimizing write-offs and obsolescence.
• Contribute to analysis of seasonal build-up plans and new product launch readiness.
Process & System Improvement
• Support improvements in forecasting tools, processes, and reporting templates.
• Participate in system testing or upgrades related to planning and data management.
• Recommend ways to simplify workflows and enhance forecast visibility.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Science, Economics, or related field.
• 1–2 years’ experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain analysis (FMCG or retail environment preferred).
• Strong analytical and numerical skills with proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, lookups, data modelling).
• Experience with ERP or forecasting systems (e.g., SAP IBP, APO) is an advantage.
• Comfortable working with large datasets and drawing actionable insights.
• Self-motivated team member who can drive resolution to issues with strong problem-solving skills.

UX/UI & Web Strategy:
• Lead the overhaul of our websites user experience and user interface, focusing on creating an intuitive, engaging, and conversion-optimised journey.
• Champion a mobile-first design philosophy to ensure a flawless experience on all devices.
• Collaborate with the commercial team to translate brand goals and user needs into compelling web designs and functional specifications.
Development & Integration:
• Oversee all aspects of web development, from hands-on coding and customisation to managing our hosting environments.
• Masterfully integrate our websites with internal systems, including our Property Management System (PMS), payment gateways, and other third-party APIs, to ensure a super-sleek operational flow.
• Manage and extend our current web infrastructure (WordPress, Elementor, Gravity Forms, WooCommerce) while planning and executing its future evolution.
• Ensure all web platforms are optimised for speed, performance, and security.
Team Leadership & Collaboration:
• Lead, mentor, and guide a junior web developer, enabling their growth and ensuring high-quality code and development practices.
