Hotel Receptionist

Join our team at a small luxury boutique hotel where exceptional guest experiences come first.

We are looking for a warm, motivated and reliable Receptionist to become part of our close-knit team.

Our boutique hotel has just 13 beautifully appointed rooms, allowing us to provide highly personalised service and maintain exceptional standards. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in creating memorable guest experiences.

• Welcoming and checking guests in and out.
• Assisting guests before, during and after their stay.
• Handling reservations, emails and telephone enquiries.
• Coordinating with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure rooms are guest-ready.
• Managing guest requests and resolving issues professionally.
• Processing payments and maintaining accurate records.
• Helping ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the hotel.

You are someone who:

• Has a genuine passion for hospitality and customer service.
• Loves working with people and making guests feel welcome.
• Has excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Can confidently multitask and stay calm under pressure.
• Is organised and pays close attention to detail.
• Is a natural problem solver who takes initiative.
• Is kind, positive and professional.
• Is flexible, reliable and punctual.
• Works well independently as well as part of a small team.
• Is willing to work weekends, public holidays and rotating shifts.
• Is computer literate and comfortable learning new systems.
• Has the legal right to work in South Africa.
• Must currently live in Cape Town.
• A valid driver’s licence is advantageous but not essential.

Previous hotel or hospitality experience is an advantage, but it is not essential. If you have the right attitude, personality and willingness to learn, we will happily train you.
