General Details
Description
- Conduct theoretical and practical security training
- Training administration including accurate record keeping
- Conducting of SASSETA, PSIRA, and in-house training programs
- Encourage a strong sense of discipline amongst BPC Security Officers,
- Ensure training interventions as required by legislation and the relevant control bodies
Preferred qualifications/attributes/skills:
- Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
- Registered grade A PSIRA instructor
- SASSETA registered assessor and moderator
- PFTC registered firearm instructor for business purposes Handgun, Rifle and Shotgun
- Registered National Key Point instructor
- Knowledge and understanding of the relevant legislation
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a security training department
- Ability to work as a team
- Must be able to work weekends when required
- Residence close to the training centre would be advantageous
- Must be prepared to travel as and when required
- Own vehicle, Drivers License and PDP
- Clean disciplinary, criminal and credit record
