The Role:
We are recruiting a Risk Officer who will be responsible for assessing metrics and monitoring procedures the organization has set to monitor risks

Skills and Experience:
Essential Qualification:
Matric /Grade 12
Preferred Qualification:
A Bachelorâ??s degree in Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Analytics or a related qualitative discipline
Experience required:
A working knowledge of risk modelling/analytics, credit risk portfolio management, or risk strategy development.
Hands-on experience in developing models using statistical methods
Advanced MS office skills
Project management skills
Sound judgment
Key Accountabilities:
Determining and implementing risk methodologies
Responsible for developing programs for tracking expected versus actual behavioural and performance measures
Perform ad-hoc data analytics as required
Conduct risk assessments
Identify potential risk including strategic, operations and institutional risks
Analysing the outputs consequences and impact of potential risk
Consulting with relevant units to determine, quantify, and mitigate risks involved in establishing and maintaining various client and industry relationships
Undertake complex analytics to support key strategic initiatives for growth, innovation, or risk mitigation
Responsible for assessing metrics and monitoring procedures the organization has set to monitor risks
Utilize analytical techniques and statistical analysis to develop and optimize risk strategies for portfolios to meet pre-defined goals
Apply techniques to build risk strategies for effective account management
Ensure employee compliance to the companyâ??s risk strategies
Perform tracking and reporting on strategy implementation
Proactively seek and recommend enhancements to risk processes
Personality and Attributes:
Excellent communication skills to write detailed reports in a clear and concise manner
Developing and building effective relationships.
Ability to effectively prioritize workload and handle multiple projects.
Ability to work as a part of a cross functional team
Presentation skills
Analytical and problem-solving skills
