Overview of the job requirements:

Applying a Leadership approach and results in orientated management style that continually contributes to growing the business in a sustainable and profitable manner:
The E-commerce Manager is responsible for the retail sales of the House of Brands - both online and in-store - targeted to a Pan-African and Global customer base.
This entails overseeing both the content and "look and feel" of the Company''s website and generating sales via appropriate sales channels.
Collaborate with a support team of digital marketers, web and software developers who contribute to website traffic, design, and structure to reach and achieve the Company''s established and required key metrics.
The primary duties would include, but not limited to;
Meet and exceed the Company''s retail revenue targets while actively aligning the cost structures to ensure a profitable trading performance and pre-determined ROI is achieved.
Develop and implement an eCommerce strategy that contributes to continual mobile and website performance improvements, to enhance the customer''s journey.
Develop a seasonal content calendar with the marketing team(product replenishment pipeline management), oversee website uploads and landing pages development - all in line with the Company''s Standard Operating Procedures.
Develop and submit for approval, quarterly and annual Business plans, Business cases, Trading budgets, supported by marketing and operational plans, that will include both the online and in-store trading operations.
Research, on an ongoing basis, applying E-commerce best practices and online trends, competitor analysis, using industry-recognized software and data tracking tools and trends,e.g using Google Analytics, Adwords, A/B testing, Hubspot, SEMrush, Woocommerce, WordPress, Magento.
Oversee or directly manage digital marketing channels across PPC, CMS, SEO, Display affiliates, E-mail, and Social media campaigns.
Technical skills required:

Be conversant, familiar with, and be able to :
Analyse various relevant data(from the Company''s available selection of software and analytical tools) that is required of an e-commerce manager in retail, to deliver data-driven strategies, decisions, and solutions, deliver top performance and achieve KPIs.
Prepare meaningful reports(as per the Company''s timetable), analyse conversion numbers, key metrics, and have had exposure to, amongst others:
Objectives and Key Results techniques:
Business Model Canvas methodology
S.M.A.R.T goal structuring
Balanced scorecards
Blue Ocean Strategy and WIG concepts
Management characteristics:
Team management and Progress monitoring
Performance-driven attitude focussed on outputs and results and not intentions
Effective communication style, written and verbal
