Roll Grinder Maintenance Technician

Minimum Requirements:
Trade Tested: Machine Tool Fitter & Turner
NQF: Level 4 Metal Production
Understanding of CNC grinders, hydraulics and v-belt / pulleys as well as basic drawings and measuring tools
Competent and able to grind any type of roll and competent on all grinding machines.
Overhead Crane and Jib hoist License is required
Ability to do computer feedback, Roll status booking, Delay booking, Defect booking, Check lists, Stock takes and Month ends
Must be able to assess cause of problems on machine, read and use measuring instruments (micrometer, ra meter, and Vernier's)
Competent as a Roll Grinder/Machine Tool Fitter and Turner for at least 3-5 years
