Internal Auditor

Our client in the Manufacturing Industry based in based in Middelburg is currently looking to employ an Internal Auditor.

Requirements:

• The successful candidate will demonstrate professional experience as an Internal Auditor and/or External Auditor for a minimum of 2 years of internal audit experience.
• Minimum of 3 years audit experience in a Big 4.
• Minimum of at least 5 years’ experience (after training program), and preferably from a manufacturing environment.
• The minimum qualification is a degree in Internal Audit, Accounting or Finance.
• The Certified Internal Auditor designation and a management qualification will be to your advantage.
• The demonstrated knowledge of auditing standards and procedures, legislation, rules and regulations will be required.
• CA or CIA (Certified Internal Auditor) certification will be required.
• Other relevant certifications are those of CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor), CFE (Certified Fraud Examiner), COSO and/or CRMA (Certification in Risk Management Assurance).

Responsibilities:

• Further responsibilities will include recording business processes, testing controls and making recommendations to improve business processes.
• Present results to management and the Board and follow up on committed actions.
• In addition, you will facilitate management’s risk evaluation sessions and report these to the Group Risk and Compliance Manager.
• Travel requirements will be minimal.
