Citrus / Packhouse Fruit Administrator

Our client in the Agricultural / Citrus industry has a position available in their company for a Fruit Administrator, based in Kirkwood.

Non negotiables include :
Advanced excel skills,
Understanding of a Packhouse environment
Knowledge of the following :  H&S, ISO, BRC and SIZA.
 

Other Requirements:
Matric / Grade 12 certificate.
Advanced Computer Literacy skills – MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook Express).
Exceptional office administration skills.
Good communications skills
Ability to work accurately with time pressure.
Attention to detail.
Excellent problem solving and organizational skills.
Must be able to meet deadlines and cope well under pressure.
It may be required that the person may work overtime or over weekends from time to time.
Previous administrative related work experience in the citrus packhouse industry will be an advantage.
 

Responsibilities:
Producing packout statements using all relevant information and systems.
Reporting on packout queries from Producers
Administration and record keeping.
Daily / Weekly reporting.
Represent the Kirkwood site on their Management systems compliances for the Kirkwood Packhouse and Ingqweba Packhouse – H&S, ISO, BRC and SIZA.
This job requires good collaboration with key stakeholders and good interaction skills. After the packing season, it will be expected of the successful candidate to be involved in planning and any other relevant project work for the Kirkwood site.
