*Reference: PE004676-CT-1* Our client in the hospitality sector, based in Grahamstown, seeks to employ an Assistant General Manager. This is a live-in position. Duties: * Ensuring operational efficiencies throughout product. * Drive and sustain superior levels of guest service and guest satisfaction. * Play a strong role in contributing to the direction and culture of the organisation. * Training, mentoring, and monitoring of middle management, especially (but not only) lodge and villa managers. * Play a key role in interacting with guests regularly and ensure that all aspects of a guests’ stay are being catered to, and that pertinent information is transferred to the relevant department heads timeously. * Contribute to the creation, implementation and monitoring of budgets throughout the hospitality product. * Communicate courageously, frequently and respectfully with all members of the team. Requirements: * Experience in a senior management role within a luxury safari operation for more than 3 years. * Any relevant hospitality qualifications will be advantageous. * Highly computer literate. * Excellent English in verbal and written format. * Experience in HR management and stock control management * Ability to contribute to and analyse financial information R Negotiable - Negotiable - Monthly
