Financial Controller (EE)

Position requires a suitably qualified EE CA(SA), CIMA or ACCA candidate with a minimum of 5-10 years post article experience preferably within the Engineering / Manufacturing sector. Report directly to the CEO. Recent SAP experience essential. KPI''s include: contribute to the company''s strategy as a member of EXCO; identify and manage key financial risks; support the framework of internal controls; train and develop staff; co-ordinate the activities of internal and external auditors; prepare Annual Financial Statements in accordance with IFRS; attend Board and Audit Committee meetings; monitor banking activities of the organisation and ensure adequate cashflow for the company; ensure annual tax returns and support schedules are submitted to SARS and to the Head Office Tax Division for inclusion in the tax pack; liaise with the SARB concerning foreign loan and interest matters as well as supplier payments; co-ordinate and prepare joint venture''s budgeting and forecasting processes; report financial results to management, the Board of Directors and shareholders within the deadlines; and champion the legal compliance universe applicable to the company.
