Job DescriptionAbout the Role We are seeking a dedicated Cold Store Manager to oversee all operations in our cold store facility in JHB Eastern Suburbs. Reporting to HR, you will be responsible for managing stock control, temperature compliance, and team leadership.Key ResponsibilitiesOperations & Stock Management: Manage all aspects of receiving, put away, picking, and dispatch of frozen and chilled products. Implement stock rotation practices and conduct regular stock takes.Temperature, Safety & Compliance: Ensure all cold rooms run within required temperatures, enforce food safety compliance, and maintain audit records.Team Leadership: Lead and schedule the cold store team, providing training on safety procedures and equipment use.Admin & Reporting: Coordinate with various departments, report on stock variances, and assist with load planning.Minimum RequirementsMatric qualification and Meat-Matrix certification are essential.3-5 years experience in cold store management within the FMCG industry.Strong knowledge of stock control, HACCP, and cold chain practices.SkillsExcellent stock control and admin capabilities.Effective leadership and people management skills.Proficiency in Excel, OMS, and cold environment working.Own transport, drivers license, and forklift license are required.
