Job Objectives:

• The Successful Incumbent (Toolmaker, Fitter and Turner, Turner Machinist), must be competent in reading mechanical drawings, actual planning and completion of the task as set out on the aforesaid drawing
• Be responsible for operating the Manual Lathes, for all components to be manufactured
• He must maintain quality as well as tolerances as stipulated for all tasks assigned to him and complete tasks as per project timing requirement.

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry.
• Advanced proficiency in CCS (Candy) software.
• Strong knowledge and experience in Labour-Only Payment calculations and management.

• EDGECAM Basic Milling & Turning certification.
• EDGECAM Advanced Milling certification.
• Proficiency in DESIGNER for CAD/CAM integration.

• Interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, and technical documents.
• Select appropriate tools, feeds, and speeds to optimize machining time and extend tool life.
• Generate CNC programs for 3-axis and 5-axis milling using EDGECAM.
• Support first-off inspections and troubleshoot machining issues on the workshop floor.
• Continuously improve machining strategies to reduce cycle times and enhance productivity.
• Document processes, setups, and best practices for repeatability and training purposes.

• Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through cold calling, prospecting, and referrals.
• Promote and sell office automation products and services to businesses.
• Meet with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
• Maintain relationships with existing clients to drive upselling and repeat business.
• Consistently achieve or exceed monthly sales targets.

• Grade 12 / Matric.
• 13 years of proven sales experience (office automation, ICT, telecoms, or similar).
• Strong cold calling and lead generation skills.

• Assemble, install, and commission new injection moulding machines and equipment
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on injection moulding machinery
• Diagnose and repair mechanical faults on injection moulding equipment
• Conduct machine overhauls and component replacements
• Maintain and calibrate hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Install and align machine components to precise specifications
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective measures
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
• Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime

• Trade qualification in Mechanical Fitting or equivalent
• 3-5 years proven experience in injection mould manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of injection moulding machine mechanics and operations

• Call all existing clients to cross-sell and build long-term relationships.
• Generate new business across various sectors by making outbound calls.

• Record all data and call activities in the cloud CRM platform.

• 3-4 years experience in lead generation, specifically in OA, ICT, and VOICE sectors.

• Clear and concise command of the English language (both spoken and written).
• Proficiency in email communication, internet research, Google tools, and Microsoft 365.
• Ability to effectively capture and organize data in CRM platforms.
• A car is beneficial but not required.

Internal Sales & Procurement

Handling incoming customer inquiries by phone, email, or in person

Prepare and send quotations based on customer requirements and technical specs.

Follow-up on quotations and convert them into sales orders.

Process order accurately on the ERP system and ensure timely delivery.

Provide technical advice and product information to customers (on-going training and support will be provided).

Maintain and update the ERP system with customer interactions and opportunities.

Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.

Assist with spare parts identification and upselling opportunities.

Support the external sales team with customer data, pricing and documentation.

Source and procure components, spares and raw materials from approved suppliers.

Create and issue purchase orders accurately and in a timely manner.

Monitor supplier performance and ensure on-time delivery of purchase orders.

Maintain optimal stock levels for key items and spares.

Work closely with stores and production to ensure material availability.

Resolve supplier issues, price discrepancies and delivery delays.

Identify cost-saving opportunities without comprising quality.
