HVAC Technician

The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair, and efficient operation of all HVAC systems across guest accommodation, restaurants, spa facilities, offices, and operational infrastructure. This position requires strong technical knowledge, problem-solving ability, and the ability to work independently while maintaining high operational and safety standards.

Candidate Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on HVAC systems across the estate
• Install, service, and repair air-conditioning, heating, and ventilation systems
• Conduct system diagnostics and fault finding to ensure optimal performance
• Monitor and maintain climate control systems in guest areas and facilities
• Ensure all HVAC equipment operates efficiently and safely
• Maintain refrigeration and ventilation units where required
• Conduct routine inspections and servicing of HVAC equipment
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and service reports
• Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards
• Work closely with the maintenance and facilities team to support daily operations
• Respond to breakdowns and technical issues in a timely manner

Core Criteria

• Proven experience as an HVAC Technician in hospitality, estates, or commercial environments
• Relevant HVAC or Refrigeration qualification or certification
• Strong technical knowledge of air-conditioning, ventilation, and climate control systems
• Experience with preventative maintenance and fault finding
• Understanding of safety and compliance standards
• Ability to work independently and manage technical tasks efficiently
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Good communication and teamwork ability
• Valid drivers license preferred
