Fitters - Processing Plant

Minimum Requirements:

• Matric/Relevant Mechanical Qualification
• Trade Test (Fitter)
• Minimum 5 years' experience in plant environment
• Chrome wash plant experience advantageous

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Maintenance and repair of slurry pumps, pipelines, and valves
• Servicing of hydrocyclones, vibrating screens, and feeders
• Maintenance of conveyors, gearboxes, and rotating equipment
• Installation and alignment of pumps, motors, and mechanical components
• Maintenance on thickeners, filter presses, and dewatering systems
• Conducting plant shutdown maintenance and inspections
• Diagnosing mechanical faults and performing root cause analysis
• Ensuring plant uptime and reliability in a continuous processing environment

Applicants with chrome wash plant/beneficiation plant experience and exposure to slurry systems, DMS circuits, hydrocyclones, and plant equipment will be given preference.
