Our client operates within the conservation and tourism sector, providing services and infrastructure to support a game reserve environment. The team is focused on maintaining facilities and ensuring a safe and well-kept environment for staff and visitors.The maintenance assistant will be responsible for a range of construction, maintenance, and general labour tasks. This includes building repairs, painting, tilling, and operating machinery where required. The role requires hands-on experience and the ability to work independently or as part of a small team.Key Responsibilities:Perform general building and construction tasksConduct repairs and maintenance of facilitiesPainting and finishing work as requiredTilling and preparing grounds for landscaping or agricultural purposesOperate tractors and other light machineryAssist with general labour duties around the reserveEnsure equipment is maintained and stored correctlyFollow safety procedures while working on-siteSupport team with ad-hoc maintenance projectsMaintain a clean and organized work environmentKey Attributes:Reliable and punctualPhysically fit and able to handle manual labourGood attention to detailAbility to work independently and in a teamResponsible and safety-consciousRequirements:Previous experience in building, maintenance, or general labourAbility to drive a tractor (Non-Negotiable) Valid Code B drivers licenseSkilled in painting, tilling and maintenance work.Remuneration: Basic Salary: R7,500R8,000 monthlyAccommodation: Onsite - Unfurnished accommodation.**Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted**
