As an External Sales Representative based in KZN, you will be responsible for driving revenue through new business development and the strategic management of existing accounts. You will spend the majority of your time in the field, identifying opportunities, presenting tailored product solutions, and ensuring long-term client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through cold calling, site visits, and industry networking.
  • Conduct regular customer visits to assess technical needs and present effective solutions.
  • Manage a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring consistent service quality and high retention rates.
  • Prepare accurate quotations, tenders, and proposals, following up diligently to secure orders.
  • Monitor competitor activity and industry trends to maintain a competitive market edge.
  • Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and submit regular reports on sales activities and market feedback.

Requirements

  • Matric / Grade 12.
  • A Diploma or Degree in Sales, Marketing, or Business Administration is advantageous.
  • 25 years of proven experience in external sales or business development.
  • A valid drivers license and your own reliable vehicle are essential.
  • A demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and sales reporting.

Salary

  • Salary: R24,000.00 (Cash component)
  • Car Allowance: R6,000.00 per month.
  • Incentives: Guaranteed commission of R12,000.00 per month during the 6-month probation period.
  • Allowances: Company fuel card (policy applies) and a mobile phone allowance.
  • Benefits: Medical Aid (50/50 contribution) and Provident Fund (50/50 contribution) applicable after successful probation.
  • Structure: Performance-based commission and discretionary annual bonuses based on KPIs.
