Job description:

Role Requirements:

• Provide precise cost estimates for control systems and on-site electrical installations to existing clients and potential customers across various industries,
• Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements, budget, and expectations, offering tailored solutions to meet their needs.
• Interpret specifications, electrical schematics, and BOMs.
• Adhere to regulations to ensure compliance with health and safety, environmental, and other requirements.
• Work closely with suppliers to secure optimal costings.
• Independently generate timely and accurate quotes to secure new business with a keen eye for detail.
• Assist other departments, including design, production and sales to ensure alignment with client needs.

Essential Criteria:

Able to provide proof of estimation / quoting experience in the electrical field.

• Education to BTech or higher in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interactions with clients, suppliers, and colleagues.
• Ability to comprehend electrical specifications, schematics, drawings, block cable diagrams, BOMs, etc.
• Good understanding of electrical standards.
• Capability to complete Tender submissions.
• High attention to detail and strong business acumen for project cost understanding.
• Excellent IT skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel etc).
• Self-management and prioritization skills to meet deadlines.
• Positive attitude and a willingness to develop and learn new skills through on and off-the-job training.
