Junior Sales Engineer
  • We are seeking a proactive and technical minded Junior Sales Engineer to join our team at a leading Engineering firm.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and qualify potential leads through a combination of research, networking, and outreach.
  • Develop targeted sales pitches and presentations to effectively communicate the companys value proposition.
  • Promote and sell equipment, products, and solutions to prospective and current clients, using technical knowledge, and commercial training and experience.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their needs, and anticipating future requirements.
  • Identify new business, negotiate contracts, and review sales performance.
  • Prepare, schedule, coordinate, assign and monitor allocated enquiries, quotations, orders, projects, and deliveries.
  • Stay abreast of the latest developments and breakthroughs and pass this vital knowledge on.
  • Collaborate with the design, production, engineering, or research and development departments of the product partners to determine how products and services could be made or modified to suit the needs of the customer.
  • Expand sales territories.
  • Conceptualise strategies to market products, generate sales conversions and deliver a superior customer experience.
  • Keep track of targeted as well as actual sales to determine the extent of marketing support required.
  • Identifying new sales and marketing channels and technologies as well as finding the best solutions to promote the business

Entry Requirements:
  • Open to graduates of technical disciplines Mechanical, electrical, instrumentation
  • 2+ years of sales-related experience within a technical or engineering environment
  • Experience selling electrical, mechanical and instrumentation equipment to mines, municipalities and construction companies
  • Fluent spoken and written English ~ French an advantage
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple tasks, set priorities, work independently and well in a team, and perform under pressure
  • Excellent computer skills
