It has a refinery and laboratory operations that require ongoing maintenance as well as new project implementation.Duties & ResponsibilitiesKEY PERFORMANCE AREASInstallation and commissioning of process plant and equipmentMaintenance of process plant and equipment to support maximum production equipment availabilityRESPONSIBILITIESGenerate and conduct planned maintenance schedules for the refinery production facility in liaison with all stakeholdersProvide support to production environments to ensure that all maintenance work is consistently of a high qualityMeasure and ensure minimisation of Refinery Production Plant's unscheduled stoppages due to equipment failureStructure environment with controls to support prioritisation of jobsEnsure the stock level of all critical maintenance equipment is maintainedProject management of new machinery and associated work implementation and commissioningControl and monitor costs against the allocated budgetCollection of parts and equipmentMeasure and reportDesired Experience & QualificationQUALIFICATION, EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTSMatricMillwright qualification or equivalentQualified electrician with a current wiremen’s license and good electrical experienceWelding steel and plasticPipe fitterMS Office skillsMinimum of 10 years practical experienceComprehensive knowledge of chemical process plant and equipmentFocused Health and Safety attitudeComputer literacy is advantageousExcellent communication skills PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICSPractical hands on skills and aptitudeExcellent trouble shooting and problem solving skillsTechnical / Mechanical / ElectricalPositive attitude, disciplined and strong work ethicSelf motivated, driven and tenaciousAbility to function independently and team playerHonest, police clearance and polygraph testing is standard in the industryBased in Midrand and RandburgPackage & RemunerationCommensurate with experience
