Role Requirements
Qualifications
Matric / Grade 12 essential.
Experience
Minimum 3 5 years experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
Experience in valve manufacturing advantageous.
Experience in pipe fabrication advantageous.
Experience in the metal and engineering industry advantageous.
Technical Competencies
Knowledge of CNC control systems such as Fanuc, Siemens, and Syntech.
Understanding of G-code programming.
Strong knowledge of tooling, machine setup, and machining processes.
Numerical and mathematical literacy.
Understanding of units of measurement.
Behavioural Competencies
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Good communication skills.
Strong planning and organisational ability.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach.
Additional Requirements
Valid drivers licence.
Forklift operating ability advantageous.
Willingness to work night shifts and overtime.
Own reliable transport advantageous.
Residing within a 20km radius of Modderfontein preferred.
Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects.
Remuneration & Benefits
Salary: R15,000 CTC per month (negotiable based on experience and qualifications).
Provident Fund (50% Employer / 50% Employee contribution).
Medical Insurance (100% Employer contribution for main member).
