An Engineer

Middelburg - Our client is a mineral processing company providing solutions for the recovery of ultra-fine minerals, operating in Projects and Engineering services, Operations Management and Process Equipment. Currently, they have an opportunity Procurement, Quality and Expediting Engineer to join their team within the mining process industry.Purpose of Role:Taking lead with technical procurement in accordance with client specific standards.Taking the lead in terms of quality on all disciplinesExpediting of procured equipment Job Experience:BEng / BSc in Electrical / Mechatronics / Metallurgical / Mechanical / IndustrialSkills Required:Technical project procurement for equipment and instrumentation requiredConducting quality controlExpediting of procured equipment, managing OEM project schedules and ensure timeous delivery of goodsManage OEM contracts – including negotiations and management of order placedGenerating of contracts with OEMEnsure engineering design integration is done in terms of procured equipment with design officeManage income & expenditure of the projectManage installation and commissioning of all designs and systemsSetting up of meetings with relevant stakeholders and compiling reports
