General Details
Description
Minimum requirements:
- Degree / National Diploma / N6 Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution (Any well known University / University of Technology)
- 2 years' relevant engineering / technical support experience, preferably working knowledge of Fluid Filtration / Mechanics, Lubrication and Fuel Transfer System mechanical design principles (Fuel, oil and grease)
- CAD proficiency (AutoCAD / Solidworks or similar) and strong MS Office skills
- Produce and maintain drawings, schematics and layout diagrams
- Prepare BOM, project documentation, installation packs and customer handover files
- Assist with site installation support, commissioning and basic fault finding
- Perform basic engineering calculations (flow, pressure drop, reservoir sizing)
- Liaise with Sales Engineers to convert customer needs into fit for purpose engineered solutions
- Support product evaluations, test protocols and prototype builds.
