Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Intern to join our Finance Department as part of an experiential training and development programme. This role is designed to provide practical workplace experience to a student pursuing a qualification in Finance or Accounting.

The successful candidate will support the finance team with daily operational tasks and gain hands-on exposure to financial processes and systems.

Responsibilities

• Process supplier invoices accurately and timeously
• Create and maintain supplier master records
• Complete and submit supplier credit applications
• Create and manage Purchase Orders
• Assist with general accounts payable functions
• Maintain accurate financial records and filing systems
• Provide administrative support to the Finance Department
• Assist with ad hoc finance-related tasks as required

Requirements

• Currently studying towards a Diploma or Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• Requires experiential training to complete qualification
• Basic understanding of accounting principles
• Computer literate (MS Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
