Description
Minimum Requirements:
- Professional ECSA registration as a PrTech/PrTechni
- A Civil Engineering qualification from a recognised tertiary institution
- Minimum 5 years experience working on national roads projects
- Labour Intensive Construction NQF 5 (non-negotiable)
- Proficient in preparing programmes including monitoring, updating and tracking progress
- Proven experience in the supervision, monitoring and execution of labour-based road works
- Must be willing and able to work full-time on site in the Eastern Cape
- Ability to be deployed full-time for the duration of the contract
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Engineer in administering and supervising road maintenance and construction contracts
- Ensure compliance with contract documentation, specifications and quality standards
- Monitor contractor performance, labour-based methods and site progress
- Prepare site reports, measurements and documentation as required
- Liaise with contractors, stakeholders and the Engineer on site-related matters
