Solution Architect

About the Role:
In this role, you will architect and deliver end-to-end IDP solutions that automate how organisations capture, classify, extract, and validate data from critical documents. This opportunity will initially be offered as a contractor position with the intention to transition into a permanent role within 36 months. The working model is flexible (onsite / hybrid / remote) and can be discussed depending on project requirements.

What Youll Be Doing:

• Design and architect end-to-end IDP solutions for automated capture, classification, extraction, and validation.
• Implement OCR and document understanding technologies, including Azure AI Document Intelligence, ABBYY, Hyperscience, Tungsten, INFRRD, and Square 9.
• Build scalable document processing pipelines for multiple document types, such as invoices, contracts, forms, medical records, claims, and legal documentation.
• Architect intelligent workflows with human-in-the-loop validation and exception management.
• Design APIs and integration layers connecting IDP platforms with enterprise systems, such as ERP, CRM, ECM, and RPA platforms.
• Create architecture diagrams, data flow models, and technical specifications for enterprise implementations.

What You Need to Succeed:

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Technology (advantageous).
• 3+ years experience as a Solution Architect focusing on document automation or document processing platforms.
• Hands-on experience implementing IDP solutions across enterprise environments.
• Deep understanding of OCR, document classification, field extraction, and validation logic.
• Experience integrating document processing solutions with enterprise systems via REST APIs and workflow integrations.
  
  

Bonus Skills That Will Set You Apart:

• Experience with leading IDP platforms such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, and ABBYY
• Vantage, Tungsten TotalAgility, Rossum, or Hyperscience.
• Knowledge of AI, NLP, and computer vision technologies applied to document processing
• Experience with cloud platforms, containerization, and scalable architecture patterns
