Duties and Responsibilities:Cost analysis: Conduct preliminary and detailed cost analyses and estimations for projects.Documentation: Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ), contract documentation, and cost plans.Support senior staff: Assist senior estimators with pricing schedules, direct cost reports, and final account preparation.Financial control: Help manage project budgets, track costs against the budget, and update cost forecasts.Tender and proposal preparation: Assist in the evaluation of tenders and the preparation of effective proposals and pricing documents.Liaise with teams: Cooperate with other professionals like project managers, architects, and engineers.Valuations: Assist with interim valuations and administer cash flow forecasts and variation orders.Industries and Skills:Industries: Common in construction, manufacturing, and property development sectors.Skills: Requires strong interpersonal and communication skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with estimating software such as WinQS or CCS.Desired Experience & Qualification:Grade 12.Bachelors degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, or related field.1-2 years of construction estimating experience.Familiarity with construction methods, materials, and market prices.
