Project Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage mechanical projects from design through to delivery, ensuring timelines, budgets, and specifications are met.
• Act as the liaison between design, production, procurement, and the client throughout the project lifecycle.
• Interpret mechanical designs and ensure manufacturability and technical accuracy.
• Prepare and manage BOMs, schedules, project documentation, and client reporting.
• Support workshop teams during fabrication, assembly, and factory acceptance testing (FAT).
• Attend site visits and commissioning activities as required.

Minimum Requirements:

• BEng in Mechanical Engineering.
• 36 years experience as a mechanical project engineer in an OEM or capital equipment manufacturing environment.
• Solid understanding of mechanical design principles, manufacturing processes, and machinery assembly.
• Proficient in interpreting technical drawings and using CAD software.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
