Description

Duties include:

  • Generate business from new and existing customers while developing strong and healthy business relationships.
  • Direct selling to customers and generating new sales leads.
  • Visiting assigned customers according to planned calling schedules.
  • Preparing budgets, estimated potential and planned profitability per customer.
  • Actively promoting the sales of products to existing customers and researching new market opportunities.
  • Prepare and present with Power Point presentations
  • Obtain enquiries, prepare quotations and follow up to conclusion.
  • Develop leads on other Manufacturing Products
  • Maintain an updated customer data base.
  • Obtain information on competitors’ products, pricing policies and business strategies

 

Qualifications and Experience

  • Matric
  • Experience in Electric Motor, Automation and Control Gear and Related Products.
  • Formal electrical qualification – recognised apprenticeship / related diploma or at least 10 years sales experience.
  • Good level of computer literacy, specifically MS. Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Good negotiating and presentation skills.
  • Drivers licence.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
  • Must be able to communicate clearly and concisely, orally and in writing, including formal communication and making presentations.
  • Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
  • A sense of urgency with a strong customer service orientation.
  • Willingness and freedom to travel extensively, including frequent overnight stays away from home base.
  • Living in relatively close proximity to the Steelpoort, Burgersfort and Polokwane area is a must
