Job Description:
  • Lead and develop a mechanical engineering team, providing guidance on pressure vessel design, fabrication, inspection, and maintenance.
  • Oversee engineering projects from concept to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality requirements.
  • Ensure all mechanical designs and activities comply with relevant industry codes and standards, including ASME, API, ISO, and PED.
  • Drive process improvements, implementing best practices to enhance efficiency, safety, and technical excellence.
  • Collaborate with operations, fabrication, inspection, and project management teams to deliver safe, reliable, and cost-effective solutions

  • Skills & Experience:
    Minimum 10 years mechanical engineering experience in the oil & gas industry, 5 years at an executive level
  • Extensive experience with pressure vessels, including design, analysis, inspection, and maintenance
  • Strong knowledge of industry codes and standards, including ASME standards
  • Proven leadership in managing multi-disciplinary engineering teams and delivering complex projects
  • Strong project management skills with experience in planning, budgeting, and execution

  • Qualification:
  • Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Mechanical Engineering
  • Professionally registered Mechanical Engineer (Pr. Eng)
  • Proven experience in leading mechanical engineering projects in oil & gas or petrochemical sectors
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Valid drivers license and willingness to travel to sites as required
