Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, commission, maintain, and repair industrial power tools, automation systems, and instrumentation equipment.Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical, mechanical, PLC, and instrumentation faults.Configure, update, and optimise systems using PLC software.Conduct calibrations and testing of instrumentation devices and sensors.Provide technical support and training to clients on equipment functionality and safe operation.Perform routine inspections to ensure system performance, accuracy, and compliance.Complete service reports, maintenance documentation, and job cards accurately.Collaborate with internal technical teams to resolve advanced system issues.Local and international travel for installations, commissioning, and client support.Minimum RequirementsMatric / Grade 12 EssentialA Degree in Electronic, Robotics or Mechatronics engineeringPLC Programming is essential.23 years proven experience as a Field Service Technician in the automation environment.Valid Drivers LicenceValid Passport (for travel requirements)Good mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic skillsAbility to interpret technical drawings and schematicsExcellent communication and client-facing skillsAbility to work independently and manage field schedulesKey CompetenciesStrong technical aptitude across electrical, mechanical & electronic systemsAnalytical mindset with excellent diagnostic abilityProfessional communication and customer service orientationAbility to work independently and under pressureWillingness to travel extensivelyShortlisted candidates will be contacted.
