Store Manager

The main purpose of the role:

To ensure the efficient and accurate management of stock, receiving, and preparing for the dispatching process, while maintaining high standards of quality control, documentation, and operational organisation within the warehouse.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular stock counts, both scheduled and ad hoc.
• Maintain accurate bin locations, ensure proper stock rotation, and monitor minimum stock levels.
• Pick and prepare stock in accordance with Sales Orders.
• Pack goods securely for delivery or courier dispatch.
• Manage the dispatch area, ensuring all documentation accurately supports reserved or allocated stock.
• Implement and adhere to double-checking and sign-off procedures for invoices.
• Oversee the receiving process, including:
• Completing GRNs
• Verifying invoices against purchase orders before acceptance
• Submitting accurate documentation for stock capturing
• Maintain packaging standards by ensuring goods are correctly packaged and supplier branding is removed before stockholding.

Requirements:

• Matric
• Proficient in English with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Computer literate, with the ability to print, scan, and email documentation.
• Demonstrates strong internal drive, integrity, and pride in work.
• Possesses sound judgment and problem-solving ability with attention to detail
