Minimum requirements:Grade 12â??Valid South African Code 14 (EC) Drivers License.â??Valid Professional Driving Permit (PrDP).â??Accredited Mobile Crane Operator Certificate for the specific tonnage (e.g., C33, C35, or C36 codes).â??Must be registered with a SETA-accredited training provider.â??Valid Certificate of Fitness (Medical) from an Occupational Health Practitioner Or must be able to obtain one.â??Minimum of 35 years of experience operating mobile cranes.â??Proven experience with high-capacity units (200t+) is highly advantageous for large-scale industrial projects.Roles will include but not limited to:â??Execute complex lifts using mobile cranes, maintaining stability and precision in various terrain and weather conditions.Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of hydraulic systems, structural integrity, wire ropes, hooks, and safety devices (LMI/SLI).â??Interpret load charts, determine boom configurations, counterweight setups, and calculate ground pressure/outrigger loadings.â??Work closely with Riggers and Banksmen using standard hand signals and two-way radio communication.â??Perform basic maintenance (lubrication, fluid top-ups) and immediately report any mechanical defects or safety hazards.â??Ensure loads are correctly rigged and balanced before initiating any hoist.Maintain accurate logbooks, inspection checklists, and lift records as required by South African lawConsultant: Joline Jonker - Dante Personnel Pretoria Silver Lakes
