Description
Minimum requirements:
  • Matric
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
  • 5-10 years relevant experience in manufacturing or mining environment
  • Lead full product lifecycle: design, development, prototyping, testing, and continuous improvement of products in a manufacturing/mining environment
  • Apply advanced SolidWorks CAD skills for technical drawings and engineering calculations; manage BOMs, costing, quoting, and ERP-related product structures
  • Analyse customer requirements to deliver technically sound, commercially viable solutions, with a strong focus on manufacturability (fabrication, machining, casting, tooling)
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration (sales, production, toolroom), oversee quality control and compliance, conduct site visits, and manage multiple projects within deadlines and budgets
  • Strong leadership and mentoring ability, excellent problem-solving and communication skills; screening equipment experience (e.g., vibrating screens) is an advantage
