Mining structures draughtsman

We are a leading engineering solutions provider to the mining industry, delivering high-quality designs for structural, mechanical, and piping systems. We are seeking a skilled Draughtsman to join our dynamic team and contribute to the design of mining-related infrastructure.
Position Summary:
The Draughtsman will be responsible for producing detailed technical drawings for mining structures, storage tanks, and piping systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed drawings for structural steelwork, tanks, and piping systems
• Interpret engineering designs and convert them into accurate technical drawings
• Work closely with engineers and project teams to ensure design accuracy
• Revise drawings based on feedback and site requirements
• Ensure all drawings comply with relevant codes and standards
• Maintain drawing registers and documentation control

Minimum Requirements:

• Diploma or Certificate in Draughting / Mechanical Engineering
• 37 years experience in the mining or heavy industrial sector
• Proven experience with:
  
  • Structural steel detailing
  • Tank design (e.g., storage tanks, process tanks)
  • Piping layouts and isometrics
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Inventor, SolidWorks, or similar)
• Strong understanding of industry standards and specifications
