Description
The main purpose of the role:
The Environmental Assessment Practitioner (EAP) will be responsible for the end-to-end
management and delivery of a full Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) for a large-scale hydrogen processing plant, in accordance with South African environmental legislation and applicable international best practice.
The role requires a registered and experienced EAP with demonstrable experience in
complex industrial, energy or hydrogen-related projects, including stakeholder engagement, specialist coordination, and regulatory approvals through to Environmental Authorisation (EA).

Requirements:
- BSc / BTech /Honours/ Masters degree in:
- Environmental Science
- Environmental Management
- Environmental Engineering
- Natural Sciences or related field
- Registered Environmental Assessment Practitioner (EAP)with a recognised
- 810+ years experienceas a practicing EAP
- Proven experience delivering fullEIAs (Scoping + EIAR + EMPr) for:
- Industrial plants
- Energy infrastructure (renewables, fuels, gas, hydrogen, petrochemical or heavy industry)
- Demonstratedsuccess in securing Environmental Authorisations for complex
- Experience withhydrogen, gas, chemical, or hazardous industrial facilitiesstrongly preferred
