Draughtsman (Audio Visual)

Job Purpose

Produce high-quality technical drawings and ensure designs meet industry standards and client specifications.

Key Responsibilities

· Produce and review AutoCAD drawings in line with defined standards.

· Develop detailed infrastructure and engineering drawings for project use.

· Prepare rack layouts, system wiring drawings, and custom component details.

· Compile equipment labels, cable schedules, and pull lists.

· Capture site mark-ups and produce accurate as-built drawings.

· Provide drawing and documentation support to field engineers, programmers, and technicians.

· Collaborate with project and sales teams on site-specific solutions.

· Participate in technical discussions and vendor engagements.

· Maintain awareness of new technologies and industry developments.

· Multidisciplinary Certificate in Draughting.

· 13 years experience in draughting (signage, AV systems, or control rooms advantageous).

· Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D & 3D).
