How to apply
- Assist the Operations Manager in planning, coordinating, and supervising installation, commissioning, and maintenance projects across multiple sites.
- Oversee workshop and field operations, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and engineering standards (SANS, OHSA, and relevant gas codes).
- Manage project schedules, resource allocation, and materials procurement to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
- Conduct site inspections and quality control checks, ensuring accurate documentation of all installation and maintenance activities.
- Liaise with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure effective communication and project alignment.
- Carry out physical installations on smaller projects when required.
- Perform additional duties relevant to the role as and when required.
Minimum Requirements:
- National Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in operations or project management within the LPG or compressed gas installation industry (commercial or industrial).
- Proven technical knowledge of LPG storage, piping, vaporizers, pressure control systems, and related equipment.
- Experience managing installation teams, contractors, and multiple simultaneous projects.
- Valid drivers license and willingness to travel to various project sites.
