Refrigeration Technician Ref: 4110

You should have an Artisan qualification (industrial refrigeration trade test), although other trade qualifications may be considered with appropriate refrigeration training and experience. Certification to work in ammonia refrigeration plants (CAT B) is required, along with at least 7 years of experience in Ammonia systems and 5 years in Freon systems, including air conditioning services and installations. Proficiency in planned maintenance systems, a solid understanding of electrical control circuits, and familiarity with food processing freezers, ice plants, and slurry systems are essential.
