A Millwright

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance on plant machinery and equipment
• Conduct fault finding, diagnostics, and repairs on PLC-controlled systems
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance in line with maintenance schedules
• Install, commission, and modify machinery and equipment as required
• Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports
• Assist with continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment performance

Minimum Requirements:

• Trade Tested Millwright (Red Seal)
• Minimum 35 years experience in a manufacturing or production environment
• Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills
• Experience with PLCs (Siemens/Allen Bradley advantageous)
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and VSDs
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
• Willingness to work shifts, overtime, and standby when required
